We've been hearing about Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2 for a while. Now it looks like we're finally closing in on a release.
Shacknews is reporting that Dawn of War 2 will be hitting store shelves on February 23. But if you simply can't wait that long, then good news. Steam is hosting an open multiplayer beta starting January 28. And if you bought the last Dawn of War expansion Soulstorm, then you will get access even earlier -- on January 21.
The beta will feature all four races, five multiplayer maps and Games for Windows TrueSkill Matchmaking. Not a bad way to get in a little practice with the Tyranids before it hits full release.
